I had Ich attack in my 100gl. tank and lost almost all the fish I had.
Am looking to add new fish to the tank as all the ich is gone.
Looking for :-

Clown fish, Tang, Damsels and any other fish which are friendly to both fish and corals.

I am located in Thousand Oaks, 91360 area.

Thanks.

Raj, you should let you tank recover before you put new fish in. it would be sad if you lost more fish because you tanks has not a chance to recover from a bio load change.

I though or at least have read that ich attack does not harm water, of course water quality is what Causes the Fish to stress leading to such but it doesn't contaminate water quality, I could be wrong who knows but it's what I have read and heard. Good luck either way

"ich" doesnt do anything to the water. but "ich" does leave cysts behind, which in turn will reinfect any fish once they are reintroduced to a system that has had "ich". The prevailing thought is the life cycle or hatching from the cyst is started by its sensing of ammonia in the water, thus as soon as you increase your bioload the cysts will hatch and attach to new fish. Water params are helpful, but there is no way to get rid of ich unless you let the life cycle of the cyst expire which is about 3 months.

Just get a UV!!!!!! Ozone is a pain, you have to turn the Ozone off any time you want ad fish and coral and then slowly bring the ORP back up after they are acclimated, so not to stress the fish and/or coral. UV is always on! I supply my UV off the return line and it is more efficient than Ozone and less of a pain in tha A$$! And ad as many colorful fish as your tank can handle, thats the point of a REEF tank! Enjoy the movement. If you have ICH, DON'T overfeed your fish, excess waste stresses out fish more, but keep them healthy and ICH will go AWAY in a matter of time. Every fish I bought, i got SUPER discounted because they had ICH, didnt loose one and they all have been fine for over a year! if all the fish are dead I would do a ICH treatment to the tank, 50% water change, get a UV, and go at it! Have fun....
