Oh fun times, my ato is sticking now tooo_O. See what you started. Older tunze nano model with the single float. Any ideas peeps?
I just picked up an used Tunze nano older model to fill my QT tank, and I believe the previous owner said that it stuck too.

And I saw the pump shaft is also rusted out, so it's a bummer.

I read online that someone said the magnets might be too strong if your glass is not thick and to put a piece of cardboard or foam on the magnet so it does not interfere with the sensor. You might give that a try. It's all very strange.

dont waste money just connect directly from DI to your tank float valve
i've been doing this for over 2 years now and have no issue with it
I used to do that but if there’s a leak in the tank/ sump, I’ll flood the house and kill all the livestock. Therefore, a peristaltic pump or Tunze ATO is much safer - worst thing, you’ll empty the ATO.

Anytime I have had issues with the older style Tunze ATO, it's usually caused by the older style pump. I think they released the newer pump which is suppose to be better, but it’s pricey.

I just replaced my Tunze ATO pump.
