Vendors are gonna take a big hit. All that time and effort setting up to only have a hand full of attendees isnt ideal. You sure they still want to proceed? Just saying.

With 20 vendors listed online that would be just a starter group of 36-40 people then add attendees you are way over the suggested amount of people being together. Peeps won't be 6ft apart either. The hotel will probably shut it down once they know they are hosting a large group.

I am very sorry for the vendors and hobbyists who are looking forward to this. I was one who was looking forward to seeing friends and buying frags. That being said, this is incredibly irresponsible to happen. We are all being asked to not engage in such activities to help protect ourselves and the community. All parties attending and the event organizers are acting very short sighted and selfish. I hope the organizers do the right thing instead of being forced to.

You are allowed Your opinion, but your views should not put the rest of the world at risk. Its the same logic a drunk driver could use for drinking and driving, “I don’t believe I drive any worse when I drink”

If this does happen as scheduled peeps will vote with their feet. Meaning, they will stay away. When they move it to Oct. it will be competting with RAP. Also, I have asked a question about refunds yesterday on their FB site but no response yet.

I just talked to Elliot, from Golden State Corals, which is one of vendors participating in this event, and he sure as hell didn’t sound like he was down for Showing up. Hopefully this blows over soon, and everything will be back to normal. We’ll have more opportunities as reefers to go to other shows. Plus, I think the vendors will be more apt to give us deals to make up for the lost profit down the road, to whatever date it gets moved to.
