Please help. I got this rock from a local fish store. I have no idea what this thing is. The rock has poly anemone and 2 mushrooms but I have no idea what this thing is. Any help

They will spread all throughout your tank if you don't get rid of them quickly. Peppermint shrimp, Filefish, and Copperband butterfly are some of the natural predators.

What worked best for me was buying 5 peppermint shrimp for my 42g lol they whipped all my aptesia

Thanks guys. I thought that might be it but wanted to make sure. I just scrapped it off the rock. That thing wasnt to happy but I popped him off the rock

Hope you didn't "scrapped" off the rock while it's still in your tank. Because the aptasia will release spores and infect your whole tank.

Add at least 3 peppermint shrimp at night. Don't feed your tank for a couple days. Peppermint shrimp will seek out the aptasia and destroy it all!
