Found this in some macro algae I got from Algaebeen. Anyone know what the heck they are?

Sadly I didn't quarantine the algae and have seen a few small ones in my tank. This teaches me not to be a dirty pirate...sigh

Could b Bobbit worms but probably peanut worms. The former is a pest with a voracious appetite for fish and gets to be 2 feet long. The latter is a good CUC member.

I was thinking of getting some but I was wondering if it was worth it to pay the extra dough for the "clean" algae but this thread answered my question Thank you ;)

Just wanted to let you know that I've been in contact with them and they haven't found any evidence of the medusa worms in their system but are responsive and keeping me in the loop with their investigations.

FWIW I actually believe them and we'll see what comes of it.
