I am setting up a new sump on my 40 breeder that is going to have between 15 and 20 gallons of fuge volume, and want to see some of the stuff people put in their fuge. Mine will have the typical DSP with cheato and a little live rock, but I want to hear more of the unsual or different things people grow or keep in their fuges.

So lets hear about them and see some pics!

Brian I am anti fuge, they cause a mess and they create a place for crap to settle and grow.

In my fuge, I just have chaeto. No substrate. I vacuum the floor of the fuge ones every 3 months and trim the chaeto ones every month.

Mine will be T'd off my return, so water will drain, through a filter sock, through an oversized skimmer and than return pump before going into my fuge. The fuge will be just as much of another tank to watch as it will be for nutrient export, hence why I want some ideas on some other things I can put in there.

I have large LR rubble and chaeto for now, along with some Tiggerpods that I am trying to propagate by feeding them drops of Phyto-Feast. It is a slow flow area, so perhaps they will get some benefit. We'll see how that works...
