It’s on a flat rock away from the tank I have zoas bear that acts like a barrier, I also give them lots of crevices so they stay put accept when they split

Why not just get coral care version 2
Too heavy, has moon light and works with WiFi and also my apex. The sky also has some shimmer but not much compared to the kessils or radions that’s why I still have them. My problem is my corals are too big so they shade everything

The coral care 2 is supposed to be much better about helping with shading. I don’t see the benefits in spending so much for older tech. I understand it’s an ugly fixture, but I still run t5, those are not pretty. I am also trying to maximize growth and color in acros, so equipment or tank aesthetics fall behind to function and results.

according to my own independent data the sky beats the coral care it also runs around 200 watts with a meanwell driver with about 104 led plus higher output led and 6 bi channel led of blue and white with moon light feature and at the same price point, where as the coral care only has 68 led at 750 ma

Is this the 2 or the 1 comparison wise? I think jake adams and Greg c said the Neptune is for a hobbyist and coral care are for propagation.
