Who quarantines fish regularly?

I never used to quarantine my fish because I never really dealt with alot of losses. Last week, my tank had an outbreak of marine velvet, so I had to tear apart my tank to get all the fish. Luckily, with the help of some cupramine, I've only lost a bicolor blenny. So from now on, every fish goes through quarantine.

Who else quarantines there fish? I know it's reccomended to do it for a month. Anyone else have a shorter quarantine time?

i have never QT a fish in the last 3 years i just acclimate them. i guess ive been lucky so far.

i never have either...luckily, now i have a perfect 20 gallon tank to do it in but...how exactly do you guys quarantine a fish ?

i wont add any fish to my dt's without them being quarentined first for a min of 4 weeks

I quarantine.... sometimes for months.

edit: the fish that died was my fault it got crused while i was moving rocks....
