Why you dont put a pumpkin on top of a hot canopy

So I pushed the pumpkin back to open the canopy and forgot about it. This is what it looked like after about 4 days on top of a warm canopy.

and I bet is smelled like sh*t!

I came home about an hour ago to find my 8 pumpkins sitting on the porch BEYOND putrid....OMG they smelled so incredibly bad....

This reminds me of a house my wife and I looked at; apparently the previous owners didn't bother to pickup the rather large pumpkin that was in a covered porch as they were leaving. By the time we looked at it ... IN JULY! It was a nasty fly attracting stinking pile of slime. We didn't get the house for various other reasons but I've wondered how much that lowered the selling price for the bank.

it didn't smell because it was cooked i bet... and pumpkins are gross... i think i'm going to boycott them next year...
