Welcome to the 2008 SDMAS Reef Wiki contest! Got hands-on reefing experience to share with the masses? We're building an encyclopedia of reefing knowledge and we need your help!
We're awarding fabulous prizes to the participants that add the BEST body of work to the wiki during the contest period. This can mean one FABULOUS article, ten really good articles, a hundred complete articles, whatever our judges decide is the most valuable contribution to the reefing community as a whole. The contest officially begins April 7, 2008 and ends June 7, 2008. All contest participants will be judged by the SDMAS Steering committee members and the winners will be announced on June 14th.

THE RULES

* Articles must be original content, not just copied verbatim from other sources
* Where you used other sources in writing your article, CITE YOUR SOURCES, as book title/author, a link to the RC thread, etc.
* Original photos, as well as photos from other sources are strongly encouraged so long as permission is obtained from the copyright holder. Photos must be uploaded to the wiki, no hotlinks please.
* Anyone who destructively edits another member's articles will be banned immediately.
* You'll be judged on all contributions, whether you make new articles, or additions to existing articles more than 5 sentences long.
* Articles may cover the entire marine aquarium spectrum, from livestock to equipment to DIY projects, etc.

HOW TO ENTER

Anyone may participate, you only need a SDMAS forums account to start adding wiki articles. To officially enter the contest, just send an email to webmaster@sdmas.com with your username and full name, and you'll be added to the 2008 wiki contest participants.

Bump up to the top. Come on people!:hmpf: It's so easy just to write down what you know from reefing... its not like we expect you to be bob fenner or anything. :pIf you've learned some tid bit of info in your lifetime jot it down... it can be as simple as lower color temperature lights grow coral faster...

Plus don't you want to take a shot at the super duper grand prize pack of awesomeness? You are getting corals out of some of THE best tanks in SD....not only are they uber nice corals, they'll actually live because they have been in tanks for so long.
