I would buy 30 Trochus snails and 10 turbos. Kole tang will not touch that. Also get a tooth brush and scrub some of that stuff off.

I have reef safe sea urchin if you needed. It will destroy it within a week for sure. Just need to glue tight the frags so it dosen't carry lol

Blue Life Reef Flux. , I ended up doing a second dose waited two weeks did a 20% water change and did it again.
I have five hungry tangs and they wouldn’t do a thing. After second dose i could see the algae finally started turning sad and the toothbrush cleaning intensified. By the second week pretty much all cleared. I repeated it just to make sure it was all gone. MY OWN EXPERIENCE. With 400 gallons anything else would have taken too long for and cost too much for me. “Again Just my own experience please check with others to be safe”
I was running 4cups of GFO and basketball size of Chaeto with lighting 24/7.


I think the algae loved the GFO
I normally run 2 cups and Chaeto all the time
