I don't know why, but I have killed three of this species already. In my defense, one jumped through a crack in my nano. But the last two for some reason went into the tank and totally disappeared. I'm giving it one last shot and ordered a yasha bonded pair and pistol from Diver's Den. If these guys die, I'm done with this goby.

Anyone have problems with these guys? I add em to my tank and then never see them again. Maybe it just hides? Anyways, it's my favorite goby and I want one for my nano. Wish me luck!

My favorite as well and I'm 0 for 2. Seem to be sensitive/shy.

Ordering from DD set you up for success, they'll be eating so you're good.

The last one I had was from DD too and it disapeared. Hopefully, I'll have luck with this pair. Never had a bonded pair of gobies with a pistol.

I've had great success with Yasha's... I had one for 2 &1/2 years before it died on my from old age... Currently I have a mated pair in my tank... They have been doing great for 4 months... They truly are super shy fish that need to be spot feed at least twice a day IMO... If you can pair them up with a piston shrimp even better... They truly are a great fish to have...
