Zoa crash, time for a fresh start!

Not sure if any of my transfer zoas are going to make it. Kicking myself for not transferring them before the holidays. Optimistic about the charmanders, pikachus and one other mystery colony (none of them are opening yet, but at least they aren't disintegrating at the touch). A few Hail Marys, still. But more and more, looking like I'll be doing a nearly full restart. Silver linings!

Alive in my desktop currently: exospheres, mind tricks, space chaos, struggling stratocasters (suspect the kukenthali shrimp are nibbling--caught one in the act), and one polyp of rastas

Possibly alive in the transfer tub: charmanders, pikachus and some other colony, not sure which

A full set of "spheres" would be fun. I've seen all of them (thermo very rarely from Calikid) except the Atmosphere. Great Owls are a bit "meh" if the Pikachus pull through. Definitely want to replace my pink diamonds. They just look great. TSA Frozen Apples always look amazing. I'll probably aim for 10-12 colonies total for the 25g, so this is not a bad list to start.

Any other ideas? Magicians also came to mind. With only 10-12 slots, gotta think of unique, really cool ones!

GMK definitely a contender! I would need to be wowed by LSOH in person before spending that much when there are other similars out there. I just lost three entire colonies of white zombies and, honestly, no tears there. Hallucinations are a new one for me--have to look at that more. Just discovered reverse hallucinations as well!

I might buy some of your AOIs and Sunny Ds! Getting the others from the same place I originally got them (AoGs and RIs). Strats maybe from an R2R friend (and grim reapers) once I grow out enough for a trade, but then again I might get impatient

I also like to see frags in person and under different lighting as some of the recent expensive strains are more fluorescent than vivid.

something like the “galaxy” types vs rastas/AOI/etc. I have whiter lights than most (I think) so the galaxy types look translucent and washed out vs the super saturated deep colors of the “classics”

Same here. I'm running white at 40% on my Gen 2 Nicrew, 85% blue/Violet (also 40% GR/RE). So my tank is quite sunny. Zoas like rastas, eagle eyes, miami vice, etc, look great. My mind tricks are a bit meh. Pink diamonds still look great, though (rip).

Joe, hit me up when you are ready. I have AOI, GMK, scrambled eggs, PPE, Rastas, blue hornets, Miami Vice, red hornets, pink diamonds, and a bunch other stuff that I don’t remember. May be tricky to get some because how they are attached to base rocks, but will figure out something.

Thanks Bonnie! No worries, I'll rebuild. Tank breakdowns and tank transfers are just the worst--so many things can go wrong when you have to work it in with normal life. I started the breakdown in early December and couldn't finish before the holidays, so everything that was mid-transfer was, of course, at high risk.
