I have spiderman zoas that have lost their color since I first got them. Anyone know how to get them to color up. Growth has not been a problem, I have a colony over 50 polyps plus 1 mini colony and a couple frags of them. Here are the before and after pics of their color.

I'm sure it's lighting. It's probably not getting enough. It also could the type of lighting you're using. I noticed halides are closest to sunlight and bring out blues better.

Water quality could be it too. I bumped my alk and mag up and colors did a 180 for the better.

I was running 20k halides and just switched to a 14k Phoenix bulb. I have the mother colony at the bottom of the tank and the mini colony at the very top. They still have the same colors. Maybe its the alk. My alk is always kind of low around 7dKH.

I've had them for over a year and had them under T5s for most of the time and recently moved them under halides in the last 2 months. Under T5s is when they lost their color.
