Those clowns are awesome and they look great in that nem!

Yeah they have some great color too them. They are a little closer in size to one another so there's some dominance battles going on. So far the anemone has held up even though it's so small. First night in the tank and it didn't walk so hopefully it likes the spot.

Tank is looking great!
Thanks! I've had a few issues with tenuis over the last week. But the rest of the tank is growing well.
The nem and clowns look great!

Did the clowns immediately take to the nem or did you do something special?
Thanks, I really like the group.

Gigs are prone to bacterial infections from transport and poor water quality so I had it in a acclimation box for the first few days while I was watching for a deflate/inflate cycle. Well that didn't end up happening, so I added my clowns in the acclimation box with it. They are CB and never had anemone contact, it was very cool to see the first touch of the clown and nem! Took all of a few seconds for them to both be in there nipping and rolling around.

I'm worried they are a little to big for the gig and it might slow down the healing/acclimation. If I have to I may pull them and sump them until it settles in fully.

out with the new in with the old ;)
reefbrite 36” hybrid. 2x250w Hamilton 14k and 2 Xho strips. Absolutely love the combo. No filters needed and surprisingly very little spillage into the room compared to the G5’s.

Pictures with just the 14k hammies. it’s looking very natural again.

Unreal! The MH’s look amazing.

Was there a substantial increase in temp? I noticed the fans rigged up.
It hit 79.1 today but we also had the ac on since it was warm. The fans were in the other rig too just hidden on the rack between radions and pointed straight down. They ran more today thought. Tomorrow will be the true test. I lost a lot of the photoperiod today messing with twin arcs, not a fan of those bulbs.

Here are some full tank shots. The new tangs were released 2 nights ago, mirror trick for the first day but the size difference was so great that there wasn't much figuring out who's boss. I second guessed putting them in or just adding them to my rock tub for the new tank but my Tomini was at war with my clowns so I figure why not roll the dice and hopefully get a more peaceful head honcho. Shoulda took my crap top off for the pictures.

They truly are! These pendants actually do run warm to the touch too. I'd say those fans are on about 50% of the time and my tank stays between 78.4-79.2F

I do go through twice as my top off water as before. I also hear the fans kicking on at night. I have my skimmer intake pulling outside air, now that I'm running co2 media I may keep it inside the house. I think that might be heating my tank as well.
