You'd think someone we know would have more info on it and be able to get us some details

She told me the same. Said it was going to blow everything away that's currently in the marketplace. Bold words lol.

In my honest opinion it looks like it will be an eye sore in the tank also if she's claiming it to be so much better, how it the pump on heat exchange? Isn't that a key selling point in vortecs.

Eye sore? So a big black wart sticking out 3 or 4 inches into the aquarium and 2 or 3” on the outside of the aquarium with the Vortec is not a eyesore? “Got Warts?" Lol

I like the design and think it will blend well in the tank.

We haven't gotten any electrical specs from Maxspect yet but my guess from looking at the small DC motors on the Gyres they will be very low amperage DC. If there was anything more than 1 amp I would be surprised.

I have seen it at work. It's awesome! Like nothing else on the market. Vortecs are a different kind of technology. The gyre technology is better at moving water. Bold words, but true words!

I can tell you that this new technology is revolutionary and going to be a real game changer for the industry. It is a crossflow technology that leaves virtually no dead spots and creates an evenly distributed flow rate throughout the entire aquarium. I cannot release pricing yet.

We will be adding a great video to the CoralVue website next week showing it on a large, mature tank running at different speeds and pulse modes. You can clearly see how it's moving water all the way at the other end of the tank. Keep a lookout for it at www.coralvue.com and follow us on Facebook on our CoralVue and Maxspect pages.

Wait how is it you've seen it in action? You told me last week that there is none of these pumps in the USA. There just a prototype in Germany. Hun??????
