Tell 'em solar is definitely worth it. Replaced roof plus a 7 KWH system for around $40K before tax break. New tax breaks are even better.
My gas bill and electric combined was less than $100 for January. My entire electric bill for 2022 was almost nothing. I have 4 tanks = 900 watts cranking...
I would keep params stable and feed it-not sure moving it is the answer. Might want to run carbon if you suspect chemical warfare. Sometimes it takes months for coral to recover from stress.

I used real reef rock, Walt Smith I think, about 20 years ago and got gorilla crabs and a huge eunice worm. All the other hitchhikers I don't consider pests like bristle worms, spaghetti worms and different macros too. The gorilla crabs literally ate a huge leather and the eunice worm ate...
Sampling water should work. Only issue I see with using fresh water fish or plants is I don't believe heavy metals would affect them like with coral. Look at the farm raised salmon and tilapia, lol. I'm curious to see if airborne contaminants get into the water column so I'll follow along...
Sweet looking tank. Do you know the manufacturer/fabricator?
Looks like the stand and canopy are wrapped with oak over a pine frame. Price of oak these days makes this a good deal lol.
