Just finished the article and enjoyed. I'll be on the lookout whether the amphipods elimnate the copepod population which sounds probable. So far the copepods are still snowed all over the glass since I don't have any fish, and the amphipods stay in the substrate. Who knows maybe that will help...

I love it! That's where all the critters go who would normally spend their time out on the train tracks or abandoned buildings. Not a trustworthy bunch. But boring without them IMO.
