Live copepods, brine shrimp and phytoplankton for sale
I’m new to this forum but have been using sdreefs for several years.

please read the whole ad for all pertinent information on delivery/pickup.

a blend of 4 different species from nauplii(baby, mostly invisible without a microscope) to adult(up to 2mm), all life stages. Both Pelagic (swimmers) and Benthic (rock crawlers)

Feed your dragonettes, seahorses, mandarins, pipefish, anthias wrasse, seed your refugium or ATS. The cornerstone of a solid clean up crew.

Tigriopus californicus - palegic(swimmer)
Large(relatively easy to see 1mm adults) , reproduce readily in your tank under many conditions. they can tolerate and thrive at any specific gravity your tank can throw at them... detritus and algae eater but will appreciate phytoplankton dosing.

Apocyclops panamensis - Adults are benthic (substrate attached) and juveniles are pelagic/planktonic
High nutrition value for fish and filter feeders.
As small as 45 micron juveniles meaning hard for even fish to see anything but adults. This means they can do their job and breed mostly unmolested.

Oithona colcarva - pelagic, detrivores
80-100 microns can reproduce and double every 4-7 days given enough food and optimal conditions

Tisbe biminiensis 70-900 microns, algae and detrivore eater.

$25 per 16oz portion
6000+ copepods microscopic

3 portions 48oz $70
18,000+ copepods

4 portions for 64oz $90
24,000+ copepods

5+ portions $20 per

I recommend a minimum of one 16oz portion per 20 gallons total system volume to start a sustainable breeding colony. Release copepods after lights out, turn off your flow for 30 mins and pour them directly into DT or preferably refugium to allow them to hide.

2 week old gut loaded brine shrimp in phytoplankton (~ 1000 individuals) 3mm “teenage” shrimp and babies 16oz portion $8 double your order(32oz 2000 shrimp) for $14

Phytoplankton(Nannochloropsis)16oz portions $15. $28 for 2.

Free delivery for orders over $50 within 25 miles of Escondido. no half portions no deliveries for orders under $50

Free pickup always available in Escondido.
I’m available afternoons and evenings/weekends

Amphipods coming but seemingly much slower breeders than copepods.

Thanx for looking, Jay

Cash preferred, Venmo 10% deposit or full payment required to schedule delivery.

I will check PM’s once in a while but you’ll get a quicker response via text.

I bought a batch thanks for meeting me. Since it is best to put in your tank at night, what is the best way to keep a batch until that time comes?

you got it from me? That’s not possible I am out of town. But to answer your question they’re ok in the container for three days maximum. Outside of that you would need to aerate and feed them phytoplankton.
