I think yellow tang will have price drop starting early next year. They are opening Hawaii back up. So more supply will bring price down. Maybe not to the old days level though. But not crazy prices like now.

Also, recession looks like it’ll be in 2023, so I think you’ll see demand really drop.

I started the hobby just a year ago, so I've only known corals with prefixed names like JF ____ $$$$. But to me, a torch looks good regardless of any OG HG Ultra prefixes. I have two that I got for $25 each during live sales, and I think they are great.

I'll tell you what I do love. I love giving away frags of overgrown corals and macros, and I love how some people give them to me, too.

Honestly I remember HG type torches back in the day going for like $125-$150 max per head.
the LED era has really changed the hobby for better and for worse.
I still think I get better growth from MH and t5, but that’s just my experience
