So, started my new tank about 4 months ago, I've come to the conclusion i need more sand at the back of the tank. I have an extra 20lb bag of live sand. If I rinse the sand with water from the tank does anyone think this might cause an issue? The tank is 225g + 60g sump, so 20lbs of sand isn't a huge jump.
I have a few nearly bare spots in the back of the tank as the pair of gobies have been hard at work.
thoughts? concerns?
