That fish can theoretically get up to 4 feet long. Even in the case of a captive species only reaching 50% of its potential, that's a 2 foot fish. Most people don't have the tanks to support that kind of fish and I have no idea why they sell them other than grabbing cash for a cute juvenile fish.

Awesome fish, but yet another example of a fish that should never enter the hobby or be available to begin with.

That's a good question. I'll ask the wrasse experts. With the size sharks normally in aquaria, an adult might be OK. Will check.
