Question but how many would you need to cover a 52x24x20 tank? these lights are a great value

I’ll get better photos, but I went to Home Depot and used 1/2” steel piping to make my own stand.

I’ll try my best to be a regular contributor here, good or bad.

My opinion is get the pair of light bars. I’ve seen some magazines with tanks lit up using only those bars and they have very nice looking tanks.

I saw all these tanks in person and the office tank is at capacity and amazing! Can’t wait to see the upgrade in action!

how reliable are they? Would you buy used or brand new?

New filters, but for some reason no clean water is coming out. Oddly enough it was working before I changed filters. tried disassembling and reassembling without luck so I got a new unit. giving this away to someone who can figure it out. Located in La Mirada.

What’s the best system available now? I have an Apex classic, and I’m not sure if the DoS integrates with the older system. ideally I’d want something they more “analog” so if there’s less chances for me to screw it up lol more typically water change schedule is 20-30 gallons every month but...

Bought it two years ago and it was amazing on my old 36x30 tank. I now have a 54x24x20 tank and need more spread. Didn’t want to drop a lot of cash so I went to T5. pick up in La Mirada but willing to deliver anywhere from Norwalk to Lake Forest. Retails at $900 new. $400 OBO

As title says. Turtle tank, but can be used for freshwater. No leaks. Sadly the turtles passed during our move and my son no longer wants to manage the tank. In La Mirada CA Includes filter, heat lamps, heater and stand.

Oh thanks for clarifying. As mentioned: I added a plywood back, as well as a plywood top, and a pair of diagonal braces to each side. Today I added some angle brackets to all corners just for peace of mind. That should be enough? If not, I’ll just throw it out and buy 8020

Are you referring to the pocket screws ? the rear is wrapped in plywood. I added a center brace as with it in place the sump wouldn’t fit.
