    Searching for stereonephthya

Have you checked out marinefarmers.com? He usually carries rare softies. He has a pink stereonepthea in stock right now (but aren't pink stereonepthea's the same as the Koji Wada??). But sometimes he'll have the rare forms in stock as well--the yellow kind and the one they call the Mulberry...

believe it or not, there's actually a published book on breeding peppermint shrimp ... I know it's not fire shrimp, but I'm thinking the process should be quite similar. https://www.amazon.com/Raise-Train-Your-Peppermint-Shrimp/dp/0966778448

    Mangrove / Macro / Softie lagoon - 20 long

Yes, I had rotifers in the fry tank with tinted water. That way, the rotifers can be continuously eating. I remember having to use an airline tube to siphon out waste/detritus every evening into a small container and then pouring back any fry that were accidentally sucked up....it was so much...

    Mangrove / Macro / Softie lagoon - 20 long

Congrats on your skunks laying eggs! I'm always admiring your tank + clowns whenever you give an update because they're not as commonly kept as the percs :) I think in an earlier post you mentioned something about using nannochloropsis only? I don't think it's enough to support them. The first...

    Clown Fish

Hi! Unfortunately, the parents of the clownfish you're thinking of died in December last year in a tank crash :( Hopefully you'll be able to find a good clownfish locally. If my current WC pair ever breeds and I find the time to raise the babies I'll let you guys all know :)

Crabs from the local rock pier

Not really related to crabs but I took home some sea grass off redondo beach a couple years ago. It lived for only a few weeks before declining. I agree with the above poster who said the creatures living locally will hate living in our substantially warmer tanks
