Hi guys, is anyone here running a refugium while carbon dosing? I've been doing some reading some people saying that carbon dosing will kill off your chaeto. I'm trying to figure out if there's a happy medium some where, would like to try to keep the refugium for the pods.

Nice tank. I usually hose my filter socks once a week. Once a month I soak it in hydrogen peroxide for a few hours just to give it a deep clean. I've never washed mine in the washing machine.

off topic, what kind of fish is that in the background? Orange/yellow fish with red stripes around the eye? :a02:

For sick zoa's I usually do revive dip, if that doesn't work I'll try Iodine dip. If all else fails Furan-2 dip usually works for me. Never tried the hydrogen peroxide dip I thought it was for algae treatment only, I'll have to try that next time.
