Love my SCA aquarium. I don't have any complaints at all. Can't speak on behalf of age as I don't own an age tank. My SCA stand is really sturdy, but of course the hinges on the inside rusted within a year.

Looks like an Asterina starfish. I believe they spawn naturally when your parameters are just right, if I'm not mistaken they eat coralline algae.

Shelf rock is supposed to go on top of your other rocks and make a shelf. Your really losing out on some great coral placement.

From my experience with blennies. They'll eat what ever is available.
