If your are going to have more than just a few fish I would 100% quarantine all incoming fish. One fish can ruin it all. In my old tank I had plenty of fish that were doing great for years, I added one new ”healthy” looking fish, and within 48 hours I lost a purple tang, chevron tang, sail fin...

I am having them do my stand and a canopy with a flip up top. I was also not sure how well my tile guy did the flooring so i have leveling feet in the frame of the stand.

Ive heard a lot of good things about glass cages tanks, not much about their stands and canopies though.

So do I. I had rock curing/cycling in 55 gallon drums in the garage, but now that its starting to get hotter I had to move the drums inside the house... the girlfriend is not to happy about drums of rock sitting in the dining room.

they originally quoted me 3-4 months when I first ordered it, so they aren’t too far beyond their quoted lead time as of right now. They said demand has went though the roof now that so many people are working from home and want tanks.

Good luck, I was looking for a 72in 180gl with a white stand. I looked for awhile and could not find anything. Finally decided to just buy new from crystal dynamic.. ordered and paid my deposit in January and still have not received the tank.

Glad its going to someone thats been on the forum for some time instead of a Craigslist flipper

Wow! I applaud you for the detailed post! I will definitely be picking some up from you when my tank is finally ready.

Just an fyi, cd tanks are at 3-4 month lead time for custom tanks and stands right now. I ordered/paid for mine on January 18th so it should be ready within the next 2-4 weeks. Not sure where you live but You are more than welcome to come check it out when it is here.

I would do coppersafe over cupramine. I QT'd my mandarin with coppersafe successfully .
