I'm starting the 10' 450 Gallon tank build...

It is a Barlus 5MP underwater camera. It runs PoE on my network to a streaming computer running OSB to YouTube. Here is the link to the camera: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08V8B9P51/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm starting the 10' 450 Gallon tank build...

When I go out people sometimes want to see my tank, so I pull it up on my phone. I admit I am a reef addict, so I work my reef into almost every conversation I have..... Is that bad?

I'm starting the 10' 450 Gallon tank build...

A general question as I get started. I'm thinking of adding two underwater streaming cameras to the build that would stream 24x7. New Frozen Food For Sale

I finally got the packaging for my frozen food done! One would think that a guy that prints labels and creates packaging for companies could get a package of frozen food together, but it's more complicated the one might think when one is creating a product too! This is the non-medicated...

    Introducing "The Rock Exchange"

So you are proposing that I should trade one pound of live rock for one pound of dry rock. That means I sould give people my time, effort, knowledge, electricity, salt water, seeding materials, rent for starage over time, all other expenses that goes into culturing dry rock to live rock for...

    Introducing "The Rock Exchange"

The value of live rock is higher then the value of dry rock. It is a value proposition. Things that are the same weight and made from the same materials may have different values. It depends on the time and effort put into them. If this were not the case I would gladly trade you my $1 bill...

    Introducing "The Rock Exchange"

Yes, that is fair. I think your ratio is a bit off or the rocks would be floating on the surface of the water, but yes, wet rocks are heavier then dry rocks. I've taken that into account. I believe my trade value is fair.

    Introducing "The Rock Exchange"

The biodiversity of the QT fish system is, of course much higher the the fishless system. It has sponges, worms, etc. The fishless system is, of course, safer from parasites, though I do do microbiome and eDNA testing on both systems occasionally to make sure I don't have parasites in the...

    Introducing "The Rock Exchange"

BTW - this is perfect for when you gotten your aquascape completed and have a couple of pounds of dry rubble left over. Don't just through it in the sump, exchange it for cultured live rock to put in the sump.
