Yes it works. But the key to any trap is that the fish have to get used to it and not view it as a threat. It can take an hour or it can take over a week. Damsels are voracious eaters so they should go for the food in the trap rather quickly and you just need to be ready and quick.

So Mark your friend that you lent the tunze care magnet to, used the glass scraper for glass tanks and not the plastic scraper for acrylic tanks?

This product can be used inside a running reef tank without any harm to corals (sps)?

Need advice as this is getting harder to clean and keep the acrylic clean. I've used a Kent Acrylic scraper, credit cards, and magnet cleaners specifically for Acrylic ie: Tunze and Flipper. They all help but I've noticed that the coralline is more calcified now and is requiring alot more...
