Yes it's time for sure. You don't realize how much time is invested until you sit down and list all the stuff / tasks it takes to keep a reef thriving. It's not the money because we all complain about the costs of stuff but no one ever thinks about the total amount of time our hobby takes...

been reefing for 25 years. getting out due to its time to free up some time and money by leaving this hobby no more 700.00 electric bills, yes i did just get solar but still not 700 and i can run my ac at 70 LOL no more stress to leave the house on trips no more huge water bills no more...

itll save you money if you get a bunch of resin to recharge. i would use 3 - 10" cartridges a month so it was worth it with that much

you can recharge it but it does take some time. In the past, i would save up a 5 gal bucket worth of used resin, then i would recharge it. not worth the headache to do 2 or 3 10" cartridges this would take me a full day to go through and recharge the resin.
