Jose, I don’t remember hearing any “releasing x”when disturbing the bio balls.

I’ve seen people are now dosing nitrate to bring the level up. Why not bring back the wet/dry bio balls. These were effective bio filtrations, then fell out of favor because they produced too much Nitrate (Nitrate factory). Why not use it now in a control-ish way? Cons: -Sump space...

This guy was originally green tentacle with pink tips (?). I neglected the tank and he got bleached. I’m taking care of the tank now. He has been like this for 3 months after I am back to “caring” routine. Picture shows bluish due to camera and lighting, but he is white… with white tips...
