    Shark Help

ghost shrimp might be too big for a hatchling. We usually used tongs to hand feed them frozen mysis shrimp (one mysis shrimp at a time) or very small pieces of krill or silverside. like smaller then a pea small. it would normally take a few tries to get them to go for it so patience is needed.

    Aiptasia eaters

consider yourself lucky. I’ve been in this hobby a long time and can definitely tell the difference between camel and peppermint. It was peppermint that are my fungia i caught them in the act. 20 out of 60 people also agreed they are not reef safe and ate their coral on my R2R poll.

    Aiptasia eaters

because people buy them? they are popular for aiptasia control and not difficult to captive breed. Peppermint shrimp are not reef safe. I’ve had peppermints eat the center out of my fungia plate and start on a favia. I did a poll on R2R and 1/3 of people had them eat their corals.
