Update. It's been almost a month using this ATO. It has been great. The siphon break is the answer. For all of you who have a tall ATO container and have not been able to fill it up for fear of the whole container being emptied into the sump this is the answer. Hope this post is useful to others.

It is similar to the JF Red Raunchy Bounce in that it has orange and blue inbetween the orange.( it is Not a JF ).

I have no idea what kind of Bounce this is. I can tell you it is big and healthy and has split multiple times. I have had it for 3 years since it was a baby and have grown it out. I originally bought it from Coral Gazers and it has been in my tank ever since.

Bounce Mushroom. Very large bubbles about 3 inches in size. Pick up in Irvine. No trades. $300 obo

I tried to calibrate my temp probe but with no success.

Dont know about the sump but I have had one of their ATO dual optical sensor with siphon break running for 2 weeks and it is working great.

I agree with Chris. The cost of fish and coral and water damage is not worth what you are saving. A successful home is built on a solid foundation. No different with a tank.

It's not going to be a good deal when you have 34 gallons water in your home. Take it from someone who had a 180 seperate on them. This is an expensive hobby. Either do it right or not at all. Just my opinion

So far so good. Thank for the feedback. I will give an update in a few weeks but for now it's doing the job and hoping it continues.

I just put in my new ATO by Ice Cap. Its the first ATO that I have found with a siphon break and after a few tests it seems to be working great. Has anyone else tried this ATO and have any input as to the actual quality of the optical sensors. For $125 it looks like I can now actually fill my...
