What kind of mushroom is this?

Hard to tell in photo with high blues. But the lower one kind of looks like a Yuma- it’s a kind of rodactis mushroom. (Spelling probably wrong?)

Wait .. these aren’t fish? But they are free

I’m sure they would lol. I wanted to take them to my office for a day where I keep my reef tank just to see them react lol. I haven’t yet but I may still do it.

Wait .. these aren’t fish? But they are free

Thank you! Ill check it out. They really are sweet kitties. I know they will make great pets. We would keep them but we already have a few*. We are not in a super rush and can keep them until we find a forever home or homes. But if for any reason we have to get rid of them sooner, I’ll look...

    Phosphate

GFO will help. But also be carful not to over do it and strip water too fast. If you go this route, also start slow. And keep testing to see if you need more.

    Phosphate

Maybe try a few ml and wait a while and test. Do it every day or two to slowly bring it down. but this is just a band aid. You need to find what is causing it- either leaching rocks, over feeding, reef roids ets. maybe even a bottle of benifitial backteria would help. happy reefing!

    Phosphate

It binds the phosphate to allow slimmer to remove. It’s pretty much instant I believe. That’s why go very slow and dont make huge changes at once.

    Phosphate

Phosphate e works well just don’t over do it. Stripping all nutrients can jump start Dino’s. Are you feeding reef roids? This was a cause of po4 for me. High po4 corals can survive but it can stunt the growth of too high (I think it slows it blocks the calcification of the stony corals) good...

Both very sweet and friendly. Using little box. Free to a good home. (Wife prefers they go together) They...

    Fish collector arrested

Sounds like he could have easily done it legally- in others areas of his state and used proper and legal equipment. This is just greedy and irresponsible. On top of it he left divers in the water to try to save his own skin. Divers could have died. Guys like this give this hobby a bad name. He...

    Moving [emoji33][emoji33]

Here’s what I would do: save an entire day for just the tank- either move house and tank last- or tank first but all in one shot. if your renting u-haul or large truck do it all in one shot. if your sand is not horribly dirty I would keep it. Keeps beneficial bacteria and microfauna Alive. I...
