The only problem can think of is it dropping your tank tempt too quickly. But if you keep the tank pretty consistent or within a degree or two, it shouldn't matter too much.

I personally don't feel that target feeding is necessary for SPS. I do have a decent amount of fish though who I feed a lot and in turn poop a lot, which is good food for sps.
