    Need calcium reactor..lots to trade!

The 240 build is almost complete. The plumbing is done and the equipment is all set. I plan on running a system with a lot of sps, so I want to add a calcium reactor. When I bought the tank, it came with a giant co2 tank, but it's too big for the space I have. If anyone out there has a decent...

Back at it with a 240.

I usually use photobucket for the pictures, but it's taking a dump today, so crappy thumbnails will have to work for now!

Back at it with a 240.

Hopefully my plumbing design works out. There's two 1 1/2" overflow drains that drains to the sump. The return pump is an Iwaki 40 RLXT, which will return water to four different points of the tank creating pretty good circulation. There's also a closed loop system plumbed into the back. All...

Back at it with a 240.

I figured it was about time to get back into the game. Last summer, my wife and I bought a house, so I took the opportunity to negotiate a tank upgrade into the deal! I ended up stumbling upon a 240 that I had seen up close and personal years ago. On one of my coral trading expeditions about 8...

    Aqua Logic 1/3hp chiller

The heat is coming early this year! Anyone need a chiller? I'm actually looking for another skimmer for my 240. I'd be willing to trade this beast of a chiller for a decent skimmer. Let me know what you have. 240 build thread coming soon!! I could also use a pump for a closed loop also...

    Aqua Logic 1/3hp chiller

This is a used, but well maintained Aqua Logic 1/3hp aquarium chiller. This unit came with a 240gal tank I bought last summer. I'm selling it because I already have a chiller. $350 Inlet/Outlet: 3/4"FPT/3/4"FPT

    Free 96" x 24" stand

Free 96" x 24" stand. I had to build another one that would accommodate my tall equipment. There's nothing wrong with it, but it needs new hinges for the doors. Doors are included. Pick up in La Quinta. Thanks.

    Bulkhead Wrenches

After years of trial and error (and a bunch of broken bulkhead rings!) , the method I use is to hand tighten as tight as I can, then use a hammer to tap on a flat-head screwdriver another 1/4 of a turn. Works for me every time!

    wtf broken jbj 1/4hp chiller

Kimmy, I've got a Aqua Logic 1/3hp aquarium chiller, if you still need one. I bought a 240 last summer and it came with the set up. I already have a chiller, so I can part with this one. I hooked it up and ran water thru it and it works great! Let me know if you still need one! Matt

200g acrylic tank 3x3x3 with sump, built-in overflow, stand

I sure do miss that tank!! It was a pain getting it thru the door, though. Had to take off the sliding door! If you still have it, I might consider taking it back!!

    Sand spitting Humu Humu Trigger

So recently I ran across a local reefer selling his Humu Humu trigger. Since I have very few corals and plenty of room to roam, I decided to add him to my system. This isn't my first experience with this type of fish. Their personalities are awesome, although this particular one has one annoying...

    Mitsubishi 73" DLP HD TV

Thanks Chris. The TV has a bitchen picture, but we wanted one you could hang on the wall. If I had the space I'd keep it. Of course, though, this pic was taken way back when my beloved Lakers could actually beat the Clips! :)

    Mitsubishi 73" DLP HD TV

Just upgraded to a new tv and I don't have room for this anymore. Hate to part with it since it works flawlessly and has an excellent picture. In addition, the bulb was recently replaced. It's tax season and if you're looking to upgrade your tv but don't want to pay thousands, then this tv is...

    Fish loss

I'm one of those that never bought a test kit. (yeah, I know). I just pay attention to my corals and let them tell me how my water's doing. Well, I broke down and bought a test kit yesterday after work. The ammonia was a wee bit elevated, but Nitrate, Nitrite and pH were well within the limits...

    Fish loss

Woke up this morning to 5 dead green chromis, clown fish and yellow tang. Fed them all last night before bed, all seemed normal. Sitting here at work stewing over this. I'll open up an official investigation once I get home. :(
