XL Yellow Millepora colony for XL Bali Slimer colony

I have a 7" x 5" x 5" tall yellow millepora colony that I am looking to trade. I am only interested in trading it for an Acropora Yongei colony (Green Bali Slimer) of similar size to replace it. Pat 505-934-3220

    Catching cardinalfish

Yea, I was afraid I might have to drain the tank. I'll try catching them when the lights are off. I was reading about the light shock method, and might try that next if catching them at night doesn't work.

    Catching cardinalfish

I've been trying to catch a group of skittish threadfin cardinalfish I have for the last month. They like to hide in between sps colonies and rock structures when I put my hand in the tank. They are not the most aggressive eaters in my tank, so the bottle trap pretty much just succeeded in...

Mating behavior or just normal clown craziness?

They've been hosting the clam for the last 8 months. Good to know. She's always been abnormal, but this is just on another level for me.

Mating behavior or just normal clown craziness?

My female clownfish has been acting a bit stranger than normal, which is saying a lot for her. She went from being the boss of the tank and barely hosting to full on hosting won't leave the hosting area. She's been kicking up sand frequently between the clam and the glass. Here's a video of the...

    Swayds Flat

SPS brownout is usually attributed to higher phosphate/nutrient levels and/or poor lighting. Increasing your maintenance would usually reduce the levels, so you might have stirred up some dirt or if you reaquascaped recently, it might account for the acros poor health. Two possible solutions...

    45g Sps dominated cube

Hello everyone. I've been infatuated with clams and sps lately, and recently stumbled upon a shallow cube I had been looking for. I was had been running a 15g reef for the last year, and stuff was getting a little too big for the tank, and I needed to upgrade it. Most of my current stock from...

    Matt's 20 AIO Cube

Looking good. Very nice cove-like aquascape. For an ATO resevior on that tank, you could use a thin gallon jug, they are pretty easy to hide as they are only 2 1/2" thick.

    Hello from SD

I'm new here and I'd thought I'd introduce myself. Name is Pat and I'm currently living in San Diego. I am periodically in the LA area a few times a month. Been in the hobby on and off since 2006. I recently upgraded and moved all my stock from a 15g to a 45g cube. Hoping just to meet some...
