    FS: Aqua Illumination Mega Lot

After hoarding and accumulating lights and accessories for the last 10 years, it's time to purge. Looking to sell in one shot at a discount. Some lights are 100%, some have pucks that are starting to get weak or have LED's that are out, some need fans replaced. There are enough parts here to...

    Acceptable Regular Temp Swing

Our BIG system swings 10+ degrees throughout the day with no bad side effects. I also have a 10g shroom nano that has similar temp swings. Not saying everyone should do it this way but just showing you that it’s ok for it to swing a fair amount and things be fine. 👍

Smoke coming out of my skimmer!!!

Power supplies and now a skimmer? You might want to check the incoming voltage to your place. When I was installing our AC system, I discovered we were over-voltage'd. An SCE guy came out promptly and said the substation needed to be adjusted and thanked me for the heads up. Especially with...

I’m about to give up. I’ve had it!

The reason for the algae is your 2nd stage carbon block removes chlorine/chloramines which prevent the algae from popping up in the first place. That's why you'll usually see that throughout the system after the 2nd stage. Regardless if it gets hit with direct sunlight or not. I agree on...

Apex Fusion Heartbeat - Tank crashed over the weekend

Yeah, we use the heartbeat. And back in the day, before heartbeat even existed, we had battery back ups for our internet connection, router, and adapter to power the Apex, to notify us the power was out. The heartbeat eliminated the need for all that. However, I don't believe the heartbeat...

Apex Fusion Heartbeat - Tank crashed over the weekend

Sorry to hear. This is the exact reason we will never have any of our return pumps on EB8's, even with fallback on/off, I simply don't trust it to do what it's supposed to do. Same with placing return pumps or critical equip on GFCI circuits.. So did you lose power, or how did the EB8's fail...
