I would be extremely careful that you emerald crabs aren't eating your polyps. Mine destroyed an OG purple people eater colony of 15-20 polyps OVERNIGHT!! No joke, I found him legit eating the whole polyp... I caught him and flushed him right away, I'm down to 2 and a half ppe lol he didn't...

I actually learned this from another member, but I feel it's very widely debated, some have luck with them and some don't.

Emerald crabs are misunderstood. They don't actually eat the bubble algae, they eat algae at the base of the bubbles which forces the bubbles off the surface of what ever they were on, if you don't have enough flow they'll just go settle somewhere else...
