I once traded $10 to a LFS for a small piece of LR because I saw a cool hitch hiker on it, I later found out they "traded" me a manjo anemone, it later took over my tank. took forever to get them in check again. dough....
I ended up getting an API because it was cheap... I figured it should be able to register something if there was something to register. the test came back 0 nitrates. kinda figured it would show that, but still wonder if its accurate.
I have seen that before on a pociliapora, not sure if it was related but it spawned new corals all over the tank shortly after. like on the glass, overflow, returns. ect.

my flame angle got pop eye really bad when I first got him. kinda turned white too a little. but I feed him well and it just went away. both eyes have been fine ever since. over 2 years now.
