    Water to clean issue

    I have the same issues which im totally fine with. Doing water changes with almost 300g of water volume would suck. I just dose PO4 and NO3 to keep them at where I want them.

    Yes water changes do replenish alk and calcium along with other trace elements. Every system is different. You find a rythm and stick with it. What ever do stability is going to be the best thing for your tank. Pick a number for for everything. CA, Alk, Mag, PO4 and NO3 and try and keep that...

    Yeah levels are good dont chase those numbers too much. Keep Nitrates around 5-15 and PO4 0.03-.10, I also like to keep my alk closer to 8.5. Keep your CA/Alk/Mag stable and you should be golden.

    Looks like a checkerboard wrasse (Halichoeres hortulanus) to me. If it is in fact that I would be wary of buying fish from a store that doesn't know what they are selling. You could end up having a lot of problems with fish and aggression with other tank inhabitants. Research any fish you want...

    Wtb kole fish

    I would buy 30 Trochus snails and 10 turbos. Kole tang will not touch that. Also get a tooth brush and scrub some of that stuff off.
