Well we can conclude from these tests is that nitrifying bacteria is present and doing their job. The problem is there's still die off if your nitrates are that high. I'd keep going and do another water change because if you throw that in a tank it's the perfect recipe for hair algae and what not.

I agree! Same thing goes with clams...completely different coloration!

The coloration on that thing is ridiculous! I've heard in some cases that if these things touch another RBTA the RBTA will turn into an inferno....you should try it lol

Sometimes these things decide their going to slough off some flesh, they bounce right back. What are your parameters like and what light are they under?

Id say do a factory reset. That's probably your best bet initially. If that doesn't work try updating the software if it's out of date. After that contact DA and troubleshoot it with them. I just ran into a similar problem but mine was blinking Amber. Factory reset the head unit and all was...

It looks like a decent filter. Only thing I'm curious about is if the DI resin is refillable. That's the quickest thing to go in a RO/DI so it should definitely be refillable especially if your making a lot of water and/or your water up in Valencia is bad. Only thing I would add to this set up...
