    Calcium reactor requires the eheim 1048 pump. Also full calcium reactor is drilled for internal Ph probe, another project to not have to do!

    They're old school; they work, but they're difficult to accurately dose. It will dissolve at different rates based on how much flow it's in, so you'll have to test a lot to try and match your consumption rate. I'd recommend only using as a supplementary means of dosing.

    You will get shimmer from blue LEDs as well... As said before, it's a single point light source that gives you shimmer, that's why LEDs like the kessil give ridiculous amounts of shimmer.
