    Smite's Stout CDA - 205G

I’ve just floated and dropped them in, assuming salinity is the same. I don’t think they’re too sensitive to pH but I’m sure someone knows better than I. Look like a good size.

    Piss cups

I will take them but not sure when I can make it out that way, new baby at home. Possibly Saturday. Do you ever come down to the Long Beach / Carson area?

    IM Fusion 15 Cube

Thanks John! I need to test all the other parameters it’s been a while. But I did take your advice and added an extra ml about half day. I’m not unhappy with 7 but it’s not uncommon for me to drop to 6.6 -6.8. I’d like a little more headroom

    IM Fusion 15 Cube

Thanks Gus! I think I feel like it’s been the most successful tank I’ve had so far.

    IM Fusion 15 Cube

Top down update. Tank has been doing well, so much so I’m even afraid to look at it wrong some days, lol. :ROFLMAO: Biggest problem has been keeping up with Alk, I’m constantly trying to get it up to 8 dkh but hovering around 7 most days. Fragged two of my torches, that was a first for me...

    Smite's Stout CDA - 205G

I was in there a few days ago and he has some “larger” ones. I would just text Jayson prior to heading over. Tanks looking good man!

    Red Flatworms on Torch

They seem to naturally keep at bay but I’m tired of looking at them. Torch is growing fine. I will look into the flatworm exit treatment. Melanarus is one of my favorite wrasses but I haven’t had a tank big enough to accommodate one in some time. It would be a little cramped in my 15 gallon.

    Red Flatworms on Torch

I do have a pink streak but it doesn’t seem to mess with them. I’d guess his big ol potbelly is contributing to this LOL! If the revive doesn’t work I’ll try the flatworm exit.

    Red Flatworms on Torch

Thanks I have some revive I’ll give that a shot. I can remove the coral so should be easy.

    Red Flatworms on Torch

I noticed these flatworms on my torch. They have been there a while and do not seem to be effecting the torch but I’d still like to get rid of them. Any ideas on best dipping practices to get rid of these guys? I’ve read freshwater dip works wonders but that makes me a little nervous.

    Wtb aptasia eating berghia

I stopped by Age Of Aquarium today they did not have any and said they wouldn't be ordering them. They don't sell fast enough for them. Ellis had some larger ones available but they might have sold out and by large I mean 2-3 CM. I picked up three a couple weeks back still see two. I don't think...

Started my first phyto culture. NEW videos

This was the same issue I had when I was culturing phyto. Hard to go through unless you have massive system. You can store your fresh batch in the fridge I found they’d stay viable for at least 30 days, then you can just make a batch once a month.

    New Scoly

Pretty stoked on this pick-up thought I’d share. Hard to get a good photo in person it’s stunning. Red, orange, green, and some yellow / purple in the mouth. To any scoly experts would this be considered a low grade “master” with 4 colors? Or just an A grade bleeding apple.

    Which LFS has tuxedo urchins?

I have had the same luck with urchins. I’ve found that it takes a while to establish a good healthy CUC. Seems like you have to go through a couple before you get some that take be it urchins, emeralds, or even snails.
