I’m done with fish now - got 21 of them and just wait until the grow….well, maybe get a Regal Angel or a Goldflake Angel, or … no more fish! lol

I'm always looking for zoas!

I first started the hobby with zoas and honestly haven’t had any for 15+ years. Didn’t really care about them until recently — my wife likes them! I promised her a zoas garden so that’s what I’m doing.

I haven’t had luck though — fish ate most / off of mine. I caught most of them but came home tonight and another mini colony is gone! GONE! I already yanked 2 lemonpeel angels and 1 butterfly. I’m left with 2 tangs, several clowns, and several damsels. None of those guys eat zoas so I’m stumped!

That's my worry for the upgrade. Copperband and a foxface going in. Hoping they don't start on the zoas or the meat corals. I like zoa gardens but still working on the technique for maintaining them.

Good luck! Both of those should not eat zoas (at least I haven’t caught them) but I personally witnessed my Regal Tang massacred the whole dinner plate of zoas!

Funny on my frag tank — I could not keep zoas but everything else is doing fine, not great but not dying. *shrug*
