I’m building a new tank- planning on beep sand bed. Will probably will need 200-220 lbs of sand. I’ve checked prices and wow sand is more then expected lol. I’m considering used sand? Still haven’t decided but if anyone has some in decent condition you may help me make up my mind lol. Let me know.

Only request- seller knows entire history of sand and can ensure no copper treatments or harmful contaminants that would harm sps and lps corals, inverts etc.

Wet or dry is ok. Wet with BB would be awesome for a quick cycle but I’m ok either way depending on what’s available.

I can get you a mix of wet and dry sand of 200 pounds for $300 picked up.
Is that for new or used? that’s not too bad, online it’s about $330 plus tax and shipping for new caribsea argonite. So that is a significant savings. But I would like to try to see where the best bang for the buck is. If all else fails I might take you up on that. Thank you for the offer my friend. I’ll let you know if all else fails. Take care

Wow- that’s much better! That may be the way to
Go. I think I priced live sand and came to about $330 before shipping and tax- was going to be well over $400 but for saving almost half I think it’s worth it to go new dry over used wet/live sand. Thank you man!
I’m going to see if there’s any local suppliers and try to cut out shipping and maybe even save more lol.

I never thought to check Petco. Both the live and dry are on sale right now. Check out these two screen shots- this is for 220 lbs. one for dry and one for live. This is by far the cheapest I’ve found for new sand:

$88.93 with promo for in store pick up for the dry!

the promo doesn’t work for the live sand but the price is great!

thanks again man, this was a great find!
