Hello Everyone, I would like to share my little coral reef as today is it's 2 years anniversary. The tank is a mix tank with LPS, SPS, softies, Anemone and other live stock. This original tank is a biocube 32Gal; I upgraded the lighting with additional 3 hygger light to the canopy ( show in picture attachment). This tank is equipped with Protein skimmer, active carbon and GFO reactor, a chiller, and 1 dosing pump to add All for reef everyday. As you can see in the pictures, space between coral is very tight, some even touching but everything is growing and healthy. I do 5 gallons water change every 15 days and high capacity GFO change every 2 months. For water quality, I try to keep Phosphate under .1 ( never at 0.0 ); DKh 10-13; cal 440-460, temp ~78-78F.
Thank you for reading.

actually they are not high, DKh of 10 is considered kinda low imo, 13 is ideal. Higher DKh would help Hp, calcium, magnesium, and other elements level more stable.
Interesting - NSW is slightly above 7 and you’re almost twice that. So you’re using salt that’s already high in alk (e.g. Red Sea Pro)?

I run mine around (low) 8’ish and other params are stable.

I use Reef Crystal salf ( the Orange package). They have DKh about 11. I noticed my calcium levels would drop to 400-420 if DKh is lower than 9

Congrats on getting to the 2 year milestone. My tank also hit that mark recently!
