Hey Guys wanted some help. Want to run a program on my apex for water changes.

I want the skimmer and ATO and gyre to turn off when doing a water change and then back on when I switch to ON. Can someone help with the programing.

would anyone have a example of a code to enter
Here is the examples. One is the virtual outlet I have set up called maintenanc. The other photo is the the coding I have setup for my skimmer. You would just have to put that line in each item that you want to turn off when you activate that virtual outlet. So whatever you name that outlet you would have to have that outlet named. Example mine is maintenance.

You can make a virtual outlet and name it water changes then set up the command codes to turn off when that virtual outlet is on.
I like this approach better. That way if you get distracted mid-W/C the feed cycle can’t time out and everything starts running again empty tank.

The virtual outlet is one way to to that, but the feed mode automatically switch things back to normal after a certain amount of time while the virtual outlet is not. Why not used fees mode D for that and leave the feed mode A for your normal feeding the feed?

you can set a time setting in the coding area to revert the times to back on just in case you forget. I find it easier with the virtual outlet just in case you take a little longer then the allotted time for the feed mode.

You can adjust the length of time a feed mode is on right? I don't even know how to set a time in the coding area when someone can activate that virtual outlet at any moment during the day....seems so hard. Do you have a sample I can see? I am really curious about this.

Here is what you can put in the command line for example 10 minutes to return to on. For this to happen you would turn the virtual outlet to on then to auto for it to take affect or if you have a break out box you van leave it set to auto and when you push a button it will activate it and the time will turn it back off. Using a break out box for this is perfect then you don’t have to open fusion.

When On > 010:00 Then Off

Just remember without a breakout box you have to slide from off to on then to auto for the timer to work. With a breakout box with a switch you leave it on auto then it’s a push of a button.

Ah I remember. This is a new command when they came out with the ATO. Thanks.
However, the "when" command is a fail safe switch to turn an outlet from auto to off and it requires manual intervention to reactivate....not sure if we can use it in this case.
