I’m contemplating that idea - get rid of all my SPS frags on the 90gal and convert that into a mushroom tank. However, I got 2 gigs in there that will need a lot of flow. So.. *shrugs*

These nems look so nice and all under one Ai Grow? Glow?

Per bare bottom discussions above that sand bed might be creating a lot of micro fauna and probably keeping that tank balanced.

AI Glow 39” - the tank is 48” wide.

Agreed - definitely keeping the sand in this tank. Things are super stable so not touching it. I dose 5mL/day of alk and do a 5gal WC every month.

My other 90gal frag tank is BB and stable. I could do a gravel bed for mushrooms. I might do a tray instead but dealing with possible flow issue. That tank has 2 x MP40s blasting for SPS frags.

The big JB mother spawned a baby (top left of mother). This is exciting!

My Deadpool JBs colored up more in this tank vs the frag tank. They were blasted by XR30 Radions at 70% over there and didn’t like it.

Following your advice for faster growth & color. I abused them and tucked them in the corner of the tank. I didn’t even read them a bedtime story nor sing to them. Perhaps the latter part made them grew? hmm

I got some Sunkist Bounces to propagate again — yay! They used to grow like weeds in my old tank. Patience is a virtue with this tank.
