Hey there,
Basically the numbers people are going to be interested in are the hardness, iodine number, methylene blue number, and whether its pH neutral.* Generally high is better in most tests as it indicates the carbons ability to remove a particular sized particle (exception being hardness which mostly has to do with dust).* I am not familiar with the carbon you listed below but based on its numbers it *is a lot better than your average carbon but not as good as the ROX. The ROX carbon is a minimum 1000mg/g compared to the 800-1000 of the jebo.* For the methylene blue test the jebo is 120-150mg/g compared to the ROX which is 24 g/100g.* Its really important to notice the difference in units on this one though.* The ROX is 24g per 100g, compared to the jebo which is measured in milligrams/g. I may be a bit rusty on my unit conversions but I believe the ROX equivalent comes to 240mg/g.* The ROX carbon is a carbon made for high purity water filtration and mainly used in the pharmaceutical industry.* This is going to make it significantly better than most carbons which are repurposed from other industries and usually bituminous carbon intended for air filtration.* Hope that helps, if you need the full tech sheet let me know but its mostly the same data you already have.
